Eastern Anmatyerre elder and half-brother of the iconic Aboriginal painter Emily Kngwarreye, Kudditji (good-uh-chee) shares his ancestral heritage in broad strokes, creating contemporary paintings often compared to those of celebrated American painter Mark Rothko. Kudditji is fearless with color, confident with his brush, and generous in sharing his traditional totemic stories and interpretation of his central desert homeland.

Booker-Lowe is the leading American gallery for contemporary Aboriginal fine art from Australia. We're open Wednesday-Saturday, 11 am – 5 pm, and by appointment at your convenience. We stock hundreds of paintings and original prints from under $250 to $35,000, and can source Aboriginal artworks for those with special requirements.
